The Bishop’s Stortford High School is unique amongst most non-fee paying schools.  Your son is offered sporting opportunities, which are not available at other schools.  The school has a proud fixture list, competing with the strongest schools in the south east of England in Rugby Union, Soccer and Cricket and Athletics.

 

This extra curricular programme would not be possible without the support of the Parents Sports Association (PSA). Since its (introduction) in 2002 the PSA has contributed approximately £500,000 to the school Physical Education department.  The vast majority of this money has paid for the coach transport to and from matches and the maintenance and general upkeep of the excellent Jobbers Wood facility.  This year we have contributed £3000 towards a Veo Camera.

 

The PSA survives exclusively with support from parents.  We appeal for you to join the association and support the extra curricular programme at your sons school.  Membership is only £5 per month payable and is paid by standing order either £15 quarterly or £60
